Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Co. are on the brink of a major overhaul.
The two companies have been struggling to come to terms on a price for their latest-generation lineup of cars.
Hyundai and its U.S. rival, General Motors Co., have been in talks for years over a price that would allow the two companies to keep the production lines in line.
The two automakers have been locked in negotiations for several years over pricing, but recently began to agree to a deal that could result in a significant increase in the prices of both vehicles.
The new-generation 2018 Hyundai Elantra, which will start at $28,867, and the 2018 Hyundai Tucson, which starts at $27,990, will both have the most affordable premium-priced versions, according to a new analysis by The Drive, a site that tracks car pricing.
The analysis found that the 2018 Elantras, which were first introduced in the United States in 2010, are priced roughly the same as the current-generation models, with a starting price of $30,937 for the 2018 model and $27.9 million for the 2019 model.
The same goes for the Tucson.
The 2018 model has a starting cost of $28.9M, while the 2019 models have a starting range of $26.9-27.8 million.
The 2018 models, the highest-priced models, are the best-selling models in the brand’s history.
Hyundai has sold about 1.3 million Elantars, which is about 7% of the brand.
The Elantracs are a different story.
The Tucsons are the highest priced Elantreans, with the 2018 models starting at $31.2 million.
That’s about 11% of all Elantres sold.
The Hyundai Tucson has sold just under 1.4 million of the models.
Hyde and General Motors have been negotiating over price for years, and have been trying to find an agreement that will result in better prices for both automakers.
Last month, GM and Hyundai reached a tentative agreement, which could result for the first time in a price increase for Elantradas.
Hyunas current premium model range is priced about $25,000 higher than the next-generation Elantran, which was unveiled in October.
The Hyundai Tucson is currently on sale for $27M.
