Tesla’s electric car, the Model 3, has taken off with the help of a handful of companies.
Here are some of the companies behind it.

The Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) has sold nearly 4 million Model 3 sedans, including more than 4 million to American consumers, according to the company.
Ford will start selling the electric Model 3 in the United States this year.

More than 500,000 Tesla Model S sedans have been sold, making it the most-sold car in the world.
DaimlerChrysler Group DBA DAIMLERCHSCHLING Daejeon, South Korea, has become Tesla’s largest manufacturer.
Since the Model S and Model X were launched in late 2016, it has sold more than 3 million cars, according the automaker.
The company said in 2017 that it would build a third factory in China to build the Model X. Cadillac and General Motors (NYSE, GM) Cadillac The Cadillac brand is synonymous with the brand of luxury that’s synonymous with American cars.
In January 2018, the company released a car with the slogan “Made in America” and a slogan of “Made In The USA.”
Tesla announced plans to build a new factory in the Detroit area, with the first cars expected to arrive by the end of the year.
GMC has a strong presence in the automotive world and recently said it would invest $2.5 billion in a new plant in Kentucky to make the Chevy Bolt EV.
Toyota Motor Corp. Toyota Toyotas are popular in the Japanese automotive industry and are considered a luxury car brand.
The company also owns the Honda brand and has sold the Prius.
Chevrolet, Ford, and Tesla Motors Inc. Tesla Motors have a global footprint and have become popular in China.
General Motors has been building vehicles in Mexico since 2015, and has now sold more cars than any other automaker there.
Zhejiang Geely Geely, China Zhaodong Geely Holding Group ZhejiangGeely Holding Holding Group is a Chinese conglomerate.
Its first luxury SUV, the Geely X1, is expected to be a success, with more than 50,000 sold, according Reuters.
Jiangsu Tianjing Jiaotong International Co., Ltd.
Jiaotte International Co. JIAOTONG, ChinaJiaotongs International Group, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Tianjin Jiaotoning International Co, Ltd., announced the launch of the G5 luxury SUV in 2019.
Honda Motor Co Honda, Inc. Last year, Honda Motor Co announced a deal with Volvo Cars to build two new models in 2018.
The first one will be the G6 and the second one is the G7.
“These vehicles will be sold at the highest price and in the most favorable conditions for customers, with a special attention to quality and value, which is the driving principle of our business,” the company said.
Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz, +0.39% “We have built the first generation of our new, high-end luxury electric SUV, G-Class, and it is set to become a global phenomenon, with new models coming soon.
We will work hard to achieve the goal of reaching 200,000 G-Cities globally within the next 10 years,” Mercedes-Powered said in a statement.
VW, Porsche, Audi, and BMW The automaker said that it will build its first luxury electric vehicle in 2019 in the US, and its first mass-produced luxury car in 2019 at a factory in South Korea.

Volkswagen has also committed to build more than 200,00 electric vehicles over the next three years.
