BMW is rolling out its next generation of premium SUV with 4k screens, including a “premium” model with “4K screen”.
The new SUV, the “Fiberglas” will hit the market later this year, and will be offered in a “supercar” configuration.
The new model has a 3,000-mile range, and a starting price of $71,900.
The “Fibreglass” is a 5.5-liter V12 diesel engine, and the engine will be available in four different models.
The price of the SUV is still unknown, but according to German newspaper Bild, it will come with “four different” engines.
The other three engines are the 4.5 liter “Mildred” V8 and the 5.7 liter “Grimm” V6, with a combined output of 320 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.
The 5.8 liter “Fluctrix” V12 engine is offered with a similar performance to the “Maine” engine, but with an extra 10 hp and 200 lb-f of torque, according to Bild.
The four engines are “supercharged” engines that produce a total of 320 horsepower and 420 lb-feet of torque and are offered in three different versions.
The five-seat, three-row “Fusion” is also a premium SUV that has four engines, and costs $80,000.
“The Fiberglass” will feature a “new” 5-passenger cabin and a “more premium” interior design, according the new BMW website.
“This is an important step for us,” said Michael Schulze, senior product manager for the BMW Group in a statement.
“It’s about building on the success of the previous generation, the new generation.”
The “Maneuverability” version of the new SUV will have a seating capacity of 10 people, and it will offer a standard 3.0-liter four-cylinder engine, along with a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-speed automatic transmission.
The two-seater model will also have an optional four-wheel drive option, and is priced at $91,000, according VW.
The interior is expected to be “modern, comfortable, and easy to maneuver”, according to the website.
